In case you’re new here, or a reminder could help, this newsletter began as an exploration of figuring shit out, one day at a time. If you look forward to these newsletters consider supporting me, my work, and my art, by upgrading to a paid subscription.
Hi friends,
It’s been almost a year since I started writing to ya’ll, and I’ve loved every second of it! I started without a plan, still really don’t have a plan, but I’ve learned a lot, made new friends, and am excited to keep going. But this month, I am taking some time to slow down and enjoy my solar return. I’ll be back in July with some updates and a few new changes to the newsletter.
Until then I made ya’ll this dreamy playlist in the spirit of that afterglow only a warm summer day can bring. The first day of summer is just around the corner and I PRAY we get some sunshine in LA soon, but while we wait here’s a mix for you.

Access to KAP therapy has really changed my life. My provider has created this incredible opportunity for 8 people to access ketamine journeys and 3 integration groups. Even if you can’t afford the $500 - APPLY - funding provided by THANK YOU LIFE can cover costs for those who need it.
Thank You Life eliminates the financial barriers to psychedelic therapy by providing supplementary funds to those in need. I’ll be speaking at Thank You Life’s public launch next month sharing a bit about how abolition, access, and anti-carceral care have informed my experience with psychedelic assisted therapy.
If you’re curious but not exactly ready to dive into the world of psychedelics - I always recommend this past episode from The Nod.
Can MDMA Treat Racial Trauma?
A new kind of treatment for PTSD, MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, may be just a few years away from legalization. What could it do for Black patients struggling with trauma? Brittany speaks to one woman about her experience with MDMA in therapy.
